S. Preston Jones, M.D., completed a medical degree at the University Of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Jones specializes in orthopedic surgery.

Ashley Newman, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner (NP) with a special interest in orthopedics. As an important part of the case team, she works closely with Dr. Jones to care for both new patients and post-surgical patients who are receiving follow-up care after joint replacement surgery.

Ashley received her bachelor's in health management with an emphasis in athletic training from Southeast Missouri State University. She continued her education with her bachelor's in nursing from Methodist University and her master's in nursing from Maryville University.

Ashley has worked in a variety of roles, including in physical therapy clinics where she provided coverage for various sporting events in the community for five years before pursuing a career in nursing. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked in the operating room as a nurse for six years.

Ashley is a native to Poplar Bluff, and she is proud to serve her hometown and community. When not at work, she enjoys spending time on the river, riding side by sides or anything with her friends and family.

Sara Rose, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant in the orthopedic clinic with Regional Physician Services. Sara provides skilled and wholesome care to patients where her areas of specialty include joint injections, fracture care, sports injuries, and trauma surgery for injuries of both upper and lower extremities.

Rose graduated with her Masters of Science in physician assistant studies from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, and her Bachelor of Science in chemistry with minor in biology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.

Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Rose chose Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center "because it feels good to come back home and get to serve the community doing what I love."

She lives with her husband and son and in her spare time enjoys all things Kansas City Chiefs, Current River and spending time with family.
