Why Choose Us?

At MountainView Medical Group and MountainView Regional Medical Center, we offer a range of diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitative services for injuries and disorders of the skeletal system and associated bones, joints, tendons, muscles, ligaments and nerves. Board-certified orthopedic specialists provide customized treatment plans that may include exercise, physical therapy, medication, preventive care and more. From sports injuries to sprains, strains, and fractures, MountainView Medical Group is dedicated to helping you return to your active lifestyle. If further care is needed, our team can handle a wide range of conditions from a torn muscle or broken bone to total joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery.

Though our team has cared for countless patients, we understand that your needs are unique. If joint replacement is needed, MountainView Medical Group’s program brings together a team of knowledgeable joint replacement surgical specialists with compassionate and specially trained nurses, therapists and technicians committed to providing seamless, coordinated orthopedic care.

We believe that patients play the biggest role in their own recoveries. To provide patients with the tools they need, we have created a program that integrates pre-op education, surgical procedures, and post-op rehabilitation and wellness for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery.

MountainView Regional Medical Center is also home to the first program in southern New Mexico certified in knee and hip replacement by The Joint Commission, a designation that reflects our commitment to providing best practices in joint replacement surgery.

The Joint Commission

In addition, we are also the only hospital in southern New Mexico to offer the option of robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery. Recent expansion and renovation of our surgical services area now offers access to brand new pre- and post-operation areas as well as a new dedicated operating room specifically designed and equipped for joint replacement surgery.
