    Donald W. Breech, M.D., has more than 40 years experience in diagnosing and treating bone and joint disorders in adults and children. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.

    Dr. Breech completed his medical education at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, Texas, and his residency at Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

    Dr. Breech specializes in joint replacement surgery. He also has extensive experience in surgery of the knee, shoulder, foot and hand, including fracture care, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel repair, rotator cuff tears and ligament reconstruction.

    Dr. Breech has strong relationships with the medical community and works with neurosurgeons, neurologists, pain management, primary care and family medicine physicians, as well as rehabilitative specialists, to ensure his patients receive the most appropriate care to effectively manage their orthopedic needs.

    As a native Victorian, he understands the importance of having quality health care available close to home and has offices in Victoria, Beeville, Yoakum, Edna and Port Lavaca.

      Daniel Binz, M.D., a native of Cuero, Texas, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery. Dr. Binz received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Texas A&M University College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas, and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Oklahoma University College of Medicine Department of Orthopedics in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, before pursuing a fellowship in hand surgery.

      Though Dr. Binz is fellowship trained in hand surgery, he treats all aspects of orthopedics and performs many various procedures such as rotator cuff and shoulder repair, total joint replacement, ACL reconstruction, fracture care, carpal tunnel surgery and patellar instability.

        Jerry Followwill, M.D., opened his orthopedic surgery practice in Victoria in 1997. Fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy, he is board certified by American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

        Dr. Followwill completed medical training at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. For orthopedic surgery residency, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at North Sydney Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Sydney, Australia.

          Douglas A. Matey III, D.O., orthopedic surgeon, is board certified by the Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He specializes in total joint replacement and performed Victoria’s first anterior hip replacement surgery.

          Dr. Matey completed his medical training at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to complete a residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Wellington University Orthopedic Sports in Cincinnati, Ohio.

          Dr. Matey specializes in sports medicine and prior to arriving in Victoria, he worked with high school and collegiate football and basketball teams, including the University of Cincinnati Bearcats - 2011 Big East Conference and Liberty Bowl champions.

            Michael Perez, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He also is extensively trained in general orthopedics including total joint replacement, rotator cuff, SLAP repairs and shoulder instability, multi-ligamentous knee construction, ACL reconstruction using quadriceps tendon, fracture care, AC joint reconstruction, Tommy John surgery, ankle ligament reconstruction, meniscal transplantation and cartilage restoration procedures.

            Dr. Perez completed his undergraduate degree at Texas State University, and he received his Doctorate of Medicine from University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Perez completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at West Virginia University. During his training, he covered high school sports, Miami Hurricanes Division I football, basketball and baseball and was the associate team physician for the Miami Marlins.
